Implemented international Erasmus+ KA2 Project “Digital Educational Platform for Soft Skills and Culture of Labour Markets”

2025-05-12

On the 30th of April 2025, the international Erasmus+ KA2 project “Digital Educational Platform for Soft Skills and Culture of Labour Markets” (No. 2022-1-LT01-KA220-ADU-000085928) was successfully completed. The project focused on the digital transformation of adult education. As part of the initiative, a trilingual digital platform – www.deps-skills.eu – was developed, incorporating a Moodle-based virtual learning environment aimed at strengthening soft skills that are increasingly crucial for success in the modern labour market.

Project development and platform creation involved close collaboration between partners from Lithuania (Kauno kolegija HEI, project coordinator – Alytus Business Advisory Centre), Poland (Association “Euroregion Niemen”), Ireland (Alliance of Lithuanian Persons and Communities in Ireland – “L.A.B.A.S”), and Norway (“Lithuanian Community in Rogaland”). Together, partners created 10 courses in Lithuanian, English, and Polish, covering topics such as time management, professional ethics, communication skills, creative problem-solving, career planning, and more. The courses were enriched with practical assignments, gamified elements, and interactive tests using H5P tools.

The project was developed involving target groups, conducting surveys and analysis, and the testing of the platform’s functionality during “Digital Open Online Course” (DOOC) activities conducted in Lithuania, Poland, Ireland, and Norway. In its final stage, the project included dissemination events such as the “Digital Education Laboratory – DELab”, held on 25 March 2025 at the Alytus faculty of Kauno kolegija HEI, which brought together professionals from the education sector. A similar event took place in Ireland on 24 April, organised by the Irish project partners, where the platform was once again presented to participants, including members of the Ukrainian community.

  • The final international project partners’ meeting was held online on 28 April, during which all achievements were reviewed, the project’s impact assessed, and discussions held on future strategies and partnership opportunities.
  • The implementation of this project marked a significant contribution to the promotion of lifelong learning by creating a modern, accessible, and flexible digital learning environment. It enables adults – especially those from vulnerable groups – to develop and strengthen key soft skills needed in today’s labour market.
